Ps4 what is my disc downloading to my system

Everytime I turn my system on or put the Dirt 5 disc in it auto starts installing the PS4 version despite having the PS5 upgrade downloaded. I just cancel it everytime, but still. Oct 27, I had my copy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla stop trying to install the PS4 version after letting it fully install. Then I changed the game version to the PS5 version, played for a bit then quit the game and removed the PS4 install. LoadRunner Member. You can't prevent that it seems, my workaround was to plug an external HDD I was using on my PS4 and set the PS5 to install PS4 games there instead on the console but that's not really a fix unfortunately.
